Just picked up X-Men First Class and was checking out who designed the ending credits. It was of course Prologue again, so in the wake of the Kyle Cooper post I thought I would throw up this video of Simon Clowes’ sequence.

Title sequences in film are something that don’t intrigue me as much as they used to. I think it’s because the ability to fully generate animated intro’s that simply mimic the film seem to be a common occurrence anymore. When I stumbled upon Kyle Cooper after searching for the Marvel Entertainment bumper, I discovered that many of the film’s intros that I really have enjoyed had all been done by him.

David Carson is one of the most inspiring designers to me personally. I won’t get into a ton of detail on him, because I want to do a full on article on him when I can get my hands on some of his books. Check out his site, looks like it hasn’t been updated in awhile but there is still a wealth of awesome designs on it.

I was hipped to this designer from the old Fear Before the March of Flames website. Clicked the designed by link and BAM! I really love this guy’s work and he has a wealth of really versatile grunge / deconstructive design on his site. The image above is one of his recent web designs, but overall I think it is a good representation of his work. Some of his most recent work was done for CARSON magazine, which is really a perfect fit. Anyways hit up that site, and check out all his rad stuff.
